  1. Why does every food chain begin with a plant?

    Plants can make their own food therefore every food chain begin with a plant.
  2. What do you mean by herbivores? Give two examples.

    Herbivores are those animals which eat only plants. For example, cow, buffalo, horse, zebra, giraffe, etc.
  3. What do you mean by carnivores? Give two examples.

    Carnivores are those animals which do not eat plants. They eat flesh of other animals. For example, lion, tiger, leopard, wolf, snake, etc.
  4. What do you mean by omnivores? Give two examples.

    Omnivores are those which eat both plants and animals. For example, human being, bears, crows, etc.
